Erica Petropoulos joined the New Haven Works team in July 2020 as a Job Coach. Previously, she worked as Campus Advocate at the YWCA New Britain Sexual Assault Crisis Service. Erica has also worked for Feminist Camp, a program in New York City and Seattle aimed at showcasing a variety of careers related to social justice.
Erica graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. During her undergraduate career, she studied abroad in Cape Town, South Africa where she interned at an organization focused on preventing violence in local communities.
Erica was born and raised in Rocky Hill, Connecticut and is looking forward to moving to New Haven. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking walks, and listening to podcasts. Erica is excited to join the team at New Haven Works and is looking forward to building relationships with New Haven residents.
