Jorge Perez

Jorge L. Perez was born in Havana, Cuba in 1962 and came to the United States in January 1971 with his family.  After living in the Bronx, New York for approximately five years, the Perez family settled in New Haven in 1976.  Jorge lived in the Hill Community for over forty years and continues to be an essential part of the New Haven community.  He graduated from Richard C. Lee High School in 1981 and received a Cum Laude diploma from the University of New Haven in 1985 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting. 

Garrett Sheehan

Appointed in March 2018, Garrett Sheehan currently serves as President of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the Regional Leadership Council, the region’s advocate for economic growth. Garrett also serves as President of the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce, an affiliate of the Greater New Haven Chamber.

Ian Skoggard

Ian Skoggard has a PhD from the doctorate program in anthropology, City University of New York and a M.Div. from Yale University. He has worked as a research anthropologist at the Human Relations Area Files since 1996 and has published on Taiwan’s economic development and new religions, violent conflict in East Africa, agent-based modeling, anthropology of affect, resource stress and cooperation, and American medical missionaries in China

Kevin Hardy

Kevin Craig Hardy is a native of New Haven, CT and is the son of A. Louise and the late Arthur J. “Jay” Hardy.  Kevin was born and raised in Saint Matthew’s Unison Freewill Baptist Church and rendered committed service as a dedicated member.  Kevin officially accepted his call to the ministry in 2008. With continued dedicated service as an Elder in the ministry, Elder Kevin C. Hardy was voted as Pastor in June of 2014 and installed on December 7, 2014.  

Alexandra Daum

Alexandra Daum serves as Yale University’s Associate Vice President for New Haven Affairs and University Properties. In this role, she oversees Yale’s commercial real estate portfolio including the University’s retail and restaurant tenants. She also manages Yale’s relationship with the City of New Haven in order to foster local economic development, strengthen neighborhoods and support New Haven public schools.

Tyisha Walker-Myers President,

Tyisha Walker-Myers serves as President of the New Haven Board of Alders, representing the city’s 23rd Ward. A dedicated public servant and advocate for equity, she leads with a focus on expanding affordable housing, strengthening public education, advancing local hiring, and creating pathways to generational wealth for New Haven residents.
